Review of the General Assembly, 27 May 2026
On 27 May 2026, the Brussels Port Community held its annual General Assembly at the inspiring COOP site in Anderlecht. A landmark venue dedicated to economic and environmental transition, perfectly aligned with the themes and discussions of the day.
2025 Review, Governance and Future Perspectives for the BPC
Members gathered to look back on the achievements of the past year and to discuss the main orientations for the future. The agenda included the presentation of the 2025 annual accounts, the reports of the Board of Directors, the Treasurer and the Auditors, as well as the approval of the 2026 budget. Statutory decisions also played a central role during the meeting, with votes relating to the discharge of the directors and auditors, changes within the governance bodies, and the admission and withdrawal of members. Membership fees for 2027 were also discussed in a spirit of continuity and balance for the years ahead.
Beyond these essential points, the General Assembly also provided an opportunity to discuss upcoming projects and activities, once again highlighting the active role of the Brussels Port Community within the Brussels port and logistics ecosystem. The session concluded with an address by Mr Fabrice Cumps, Mayor of Anderlecht and President of COOP, alongside Mr Marc Renson, President of EUCLIDES. Their intervention focused on ongoing projects and future development perspectives for the site and the surrounding area
Visit of the COOP Site and Networking Moment Between Member
The morning continued with a guided visit of the COOP site, allowing participants to discover this hub dedicated to innovation and the circular economy. The event concluded with a convivial walking lunch, providing an ideal setting for informal discussions and networking opportunities.
